SevenSeals
SevenSeals is security application for networks and workstations, it protects all the components of your network from malware and unauthorized access to information and valuable data, including internet threats, internal information drain and data modifications, both minor and major
For additional security an option of unknown program isolation is integrated. It provides for unknown/suspicious program execution in the environment isolated from all data and programs stored in computer
How SevenSeals Works
SevenSeals starts at the same time with the operating system which provides more security taking in consideration that most threats reside in OS services, thus causing damage to the operating system even before it completely loads. Some malicious applications are aimed to destroy operating systems, SevenSeals will automatically block them before they load to OS services.
Moreover, SevenSeals controls all activities and applications of user computer including but not limited to user actions, so it prevents any loss or damage to data and information caused by misuse or deliberate actions.
SevenSeals will warn the user about any malicious action and prompt to either block or allow it. The decision about the malicious nature of activities is made by an intelligent analyzer, a special analytical mechanism that examines the activities based on the preset rules and makes a decision about the behavior of applications. SevenSeals runs in the background of the system using minimum resources which will not affect the other applications/processes of the system.
SevenSeals Architecture
SevenSeals consists of three main parts which are the Service Center, an Administration Console, and SevenSeals agents.
Service Centers
A service center is SevenSeals' brains. It's responsible for:
- Monitoring client activities
- Managing rules, permissions and settings for individual groups of online computers.
- Automatically updating for clients and workstations' agents via Internet.
- Logging events, notifications and reports to a centralized database.
The service center can run in self-learning mode. Once you turn it on, SevenSeals will continuously learn your computer usage habits, and which programs are most likely to be allowed.
Administraion Console
The console is the graphical user interface to change service centers' settings. This means that you can use one administration console to manage multiple service centers from one location.
SevenSeals Agents
If service centers are the brains, then SevenSeals agents are the muscles. They get their instructions from their designated service centers, and they are responsible for:
- Protecting desktops and workstations from hacker attacks.
- Integration with antivirus software.
- Blocking unauthorized access to files.
- Detecting and disinfecting known malware.
- Providing detailed performance reports back to service centers.
